    TWO WAY ZIPPERED STORABLE HOOD

    Located on the collar of the jacket you will find a YKK two way zipper to conceal your 3-Way Adjustable Brimmed Hood.  Having a sealable hood ads a layer of style and functionality to the jacket. Zipping up the hood provides a safe and padded protection structure from the wind and elements that keep your face and neck dry and well protected.

    STORABLE 3-WAY ADJUSTABLE HOOD WITH BONDED BRIM

    Two adjustments points are located on the side of the collar with the third being on the back of the head. The third is connected to a pocket on the inside of the extended brim of the jacket where the front of your hat can rest and be synched from the back creating a perfect structured face shield. Rounding off this hood is a complete 360 degree micro fleece lined collar on the inside, hidden button push releases, laser drilled holes, and more.

    LASER DRILLED HOLES IN THE BACK OF THE HOOD

    Located on the back side of the 3-Way Adjustable Brimmed Hood you'll find a series of laser drilled holes that allows wind to pass through the front of the hood and out the back, which prevents scooping under travel, protecting your eyesight. These holes also allow some heat to escape from your back, sleeves, and hood preventing sweat build up. The holes are covered by an overlapping flap on the outside of the hood.

    DRY SUIT RUBBER GASKET AT THE VELCRO ADJUSTABLE OUTER CUFF

     To the inside of the velcro adjustable outer cuff you will find a watertight dry suit rubber gasket welded to the interior of the sleeve. This allows you to reach into the water, sail, fish, and work all without the worry of water dripping down your sleeve.

    ADJUSTABLE DRAWCORD WAIST

    Located inside the front pockets you will find a draw cord which pulls the waistline of the jacket tight. To release the cord and loosen the waistline reach in the front of the jacket and press the hidden buttons, located at the front of the waistline.  The waistline draw cord allows you to trap in heat while keeping water out.

    BONDED SELF CLOSING MAGNETIC FLAP

    In multiple locations over the suit you will find bonded self closing magnetic flaps over select pockets. The magnetic flap ensures quick and easy access to your pockets, while maintaining a strong enough field to prevent flapping in the wind, and reduces pocket catch hazards aboard.

    KARUISHI™’s abrasion resistance ranks much higher than conventional spun yarn or brushed filament fabric due to a special knitting structure in which abrasion-resistant brushed yarn is connected only to back yarn, without showing on the front surface.     EXTERIOR LAYER: C6 DWR treated abrasion resistant nylon outer shell. The tightly woven fabric assists the DWR while being able to withstand significant abrasion. 2ND LAYER: Hydrophobic waterproof, yet water vapor permeable microporous coating. The pores are so small that water cannot go through but vapor molecules are many times smaller than the liquid state and can pass through. 3RD LAYER: Hydrophilic non-porous lamination moves moisture by chemical diffusion. The water molecule is positively charged and the hydrophilic layer is negatively charged, attracting the water through the intermolecular gaps of the lamination. The water then gets pushed through the gaps until the water vapor passes all the way through the layers. INTERIOR LAYER: Ultra-lightweight wicking mesh to protect the waterproof layers and assist in pulling moisture away from your body.
